Sync Two Microsoft Outlook Calendars – With Google!

I have a personal laptop at home that has my personal calendar stuff in it. At my office I have a different laptop that uses Microsoft exchange and has my work calendar information.

I want the two to merge – to be the same – to show evening appointments in my work calendar and daytime meetings in my home calendar. (The exchange server detail isn’t important, it just happens to be what my company uses. This will work on any plain old Outlook calendars)

By synchronizing the two,  when I dock my iPhone at home I get both my personal and business appointments on it. If I change jobs I can just decouple the business laptop calendar and life moves on.

Easy Cheesy McPheesy:

Now, when you add an appointment at home, it syncs to Google Calendar, in a few minutes your work laptop syncs as well and ads the appointment to your work computer. Delete an business appointment, it syncs to Google, then Syncs with home and the appointment is removed from all three!

Another added benefit is the ability to see your complete calendar online.

One note: Mark any personal appointments you don’t want the world to see as Private and when your boss looks at your calendar in Exchange he won’t see that you are taking banjo lessons every Tuesday at 11 or going to Office Supply Kleptomaniac’s Anonymous twice a week.

Ok, my company used Outlook 2003. In each employee's Outlook is their personal Outlook calendar, titled "Calendar". Then there is a shared Company Calendar, which most employees use to see if someone's sick, out of the office, etc. This calendar is shared through our server. With Google Sync, it only syncs your primary calendar, and does not offer the option to sync any additional calendars. Ideally, what we want to do is sync both the personal calendar and the company calendar to each person's Google account. This way, the company calendar will show up on their Droid phones that sync with their individual Google accounts. So I guess my question is, how to do you sync two Outlook calendars to a Google Calendar (keeping in mind, one is the main calendar and the other is a shared calendar through the server)? Thanks in advance!

Within Outllok 2007 is there a way to synchronize all existing calendars or as many into a calendar of choice. For example I currently have my default standard outlook calendar, my hotmail calendar and a birthday calendar, I would like to synchronize hotmail and birthday into my default standard outlook calendar because this is the calendar that my palm synchronizes with.

HI, i have one calender in outlook, and want that calender on several PCs, but also if there are any chages on any computer they will take effect when the sync has taken place. I am using Google sync at the moment which works, but i would like to use office live as i think that will keep my categories on each computer as well. Or is there an add in i can use with google. thanks

At my workplace, I have to have 2 different user accounts on 2 different domains. I have an Outlook calendar (and email and contacts, etc…) on both. Is there any way to synchronize them so that all appointments display on both and an appointment changed/added on one will display on both? I have used the import/export function, but that doesn't remove an appointment which has been deleted.

You would think Microsoft would have an answer, but I can't find it… Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi_Windows Mobile Phone 7 adds a new twist to this subject. Moving past the frustrating fact that WP7 cannot directly sync with Outlook outside an Exchange Server… (MS tech DID tell me that they have gotten so many complaints about this that they are working on reinstating this capability).
    a) The issue for me at hand is that there are default, un-deletable Contact and Calendar folders in Outlook
    b) In order to Sync with a WP7 phone, you need to either do the Google or Windows Live "cloud sync"
This requires a new Contact and Calendar folder to sync with Live.

How can I make these Live versions the defaults vs the originals and get rid of the other ones?
