      Didn't work for me initially either but I deleted and re-typed the quotes as Martin says and it works well. Thanks Dan.

      Hi. My PASTE came out like:

      javascript:location.href=’mailto:?SUBJECT=’+document.title+’&BODY=’+escape(location.href);

      Do you see anything wrong with it, because it's not working for me. Thanks!

    you have to type the entire thing in by hand, and then it works. Cut and paste will not do it.

    Thanks so much for all the advice here. This was driving me mad at first, before I tried typing the whole thing in by hand, and that worked! Thanks again!

    DOESN'T WORK. Not so much because the link itself is bad, but because Google Chrome does NOT respect the operating system/desktop's setting for "default mail handler". All it does is open a new browser window, and goes absolutely NOWHERE. And with all the re-designs of Chrome, you can't even find the excessively hidden settings that let you define a separate mail handler (in my case, Thunderbird).

    Everything worked fine with one problem I don't understand. When I tried out the newly created e-mail bookmark, my AOL ISP opened, although it was not connected since I was connected to Google Chrome. I was able to select the people I wanted to send the web page to and click "Send Later" on the AOL service. Don't have any idea how this happened, but at least I can now send web pages while viewing Chrome by using AOL. That's around the block and up the street when the solution is for Chrome to fix their problem! What are they waiting for?

    I use Google, I was leery of this application working, and it didn't. I followed the instructions to the "t" but it just doesn't work. Tried it several times. So, what is the trick?

      If you cut and paste each line it will work so you don't have to type it out

    This worked great! Thanks for sharing! I will say that I mistyped it the first time and it didn’t work, of course. Made sure it was typed in properly, and it opened an Outlook email complete with URL in the body! Thanks so much!
